Trip to Ithaca NY for meeting and lunch at Moosewood. Naturally, the best! Hmm, maybe time to bring out the Moosewood cookbook and make some soup.

The objects and piles of things in the new space look strangely beautiful early in the morning. The sculpture is of my father. My handmade paper is framed on the wall. The light will be most welcome here.
It was time to tidy up the garden, pull the tomato plants that didn't make it with the wet summer we had. Leeks and some peppers are still growing. Finally, the first lemons are ripening...tree from Acorn Springs Farm.
I am happy to report that one of my illustrations (Rich Boy) made runner-up in Creative Quarterly 17.
Also, my entry into CQ16, which also got a runner-up, is now up on their website.
Received CQ16 in the mail today...fine artist Susan Rothenberg and others. Look at it online here. Call for Entries for CQ18 deadline October 30. I'm inspired.
It's just starting to feel like soup weather. Made big pot of chicken stock today while I worked. Some links for you...Amy Butler's rugs and Studio Violet porcelain.
