Ithaca, NY

Ithaca Starbucks display is now up through the end of November. Handmade paper hanging on the wall can definitely cozy up a room full of modern furniture. Amazing dinner at Fine Line bistro on State Street after. We loved the roasted beet salad, escolar, penne with leeks and rutabaga, and pomme frittes with malt vinegar) This newish place is a little on the 'less is more' side (aka portion control) but every bite is heaven! And the plate is artfully designed with balsamic glazes and pomegranate seeds. This week--drawing, drawing, drawing...

Handmade Books and Journals

















































































Yes, I am a paper junkie. I admit it. Then of course, handmade paper goes hand in hand (no pun, really) with handmade journals. Here are a few I have made-some just for me and some commissioned for weddings, graduations and art exhibits. I plan to do more journals/sketchbooks with coptic binding which allows the book to open flat for easy sketching. Winter is always a good time for making books with the handmade paper I've made during the summer.
